If you are looking for the State Of Texas Public Records, you can find them at the state's Public Health office and/or at other government offices. When the Freedom of Information Act was finalized, public files became available to public access. Individuals were allowed to place requests for the files provided that proper procedures were followed. Typically, with a public file, you will gain access to details such as the full name of an individual, kind of file, and the time and date that it was realized. Despite being available to the public, there are some details included in a public file that are not revealed to the public, mainly because they are deemed as confidential. Once fees are settled, a no-refund policy automatically takes full effect regardless of the outcome of the search. Return period for requests take a couple of weeks to a couple of months. If you wish to obtain the records a lot faster, you can opt for a priority handling for an additional fee.
