How A Gifted Spiritual Healer Can Help

By Linda Ruiz

The Faith Healers of the past often held huge tent revivals in which a number of individuals would come for healing. A Faith Healer, or Gifted Spiritual Healer would lead services somewhat like traditional worship services only providing for individuals to come forth for a laying on of the hands. The Healer would then channel the Divine Spirit of God and transmit the energy from oneself into the individual desiring to be healed.

While in the Christian Faith, the term may mean acting as a channel of healing on the part of God, the meaning is different in New Age circles. In these circles, it often refers to intuition and psychic gifts. Whether working a one time case, or on a long investigation, psychics have been known to help in locating missing persons, understanding suspects and have been beneficial in assisting other areas of law enforcement.

In some cases, individuals believe everyone has psychic abilities which can be honed and sharpened over time. Others reject the notion that psychic powers and that belief in the occult is sheer nonsense. Those of a devout religious nature often believe that belief in these type powers is of the Devil, or Satan and nothing less than evil.

Most psychics believe these skills are inherit and natural. There is still a great deal of controversy over whether this is the case or otherwise. One thing for sure, anyone providing these type services often has to deal with other areas which may not be as pleasant as a simple reading.

Sadly, when a psychic investigation fails, then so too the belief in the abilities of the psychic or psychics working the case. Authorities may want to consider that if investigators can fail to find evidence and information, so too can psychics. Providing at least two to three opportunities for a psychic investigator to study any background information and the crime scene is often an acceptable amount of time.

These individuals include doctors, lawyers, professors, teachers, even clergy. All of which experience stress on a regular basis. Some obtain healing on the advice of a physician, others on advice of friends and colleagues. An on going schedule of spiritual healing is often advised for clergy, massage therapists, psychics and others who work in the healing arts.

When working in any healing art where there is an exchange of energy, it is advised to protect the space by establishing a circle of Divine light. Many who participate in these type healing circles believe this Divine light keeps created evil spirits at bay while protecting those involved in the healing circle. When the work is complete, it is important to dismiss the spirits and allow a moment for individuals to ground before returning to the mundane.

Whether through Reiki, rolfing, or massage, touch can be a powerful healing tool. While most often Reiki requires individuals go through different levels of training to become a Master, those desiring treatment often do not need to have such training. As such, this can often be a good way to see how Divine light and love can help heal bodies, minds and Spirits.
